On November 11, 2025, I was given the news that I had breast cancer. In that moment, I had so many questions. What do I do now? What will happen next? How do I get through this? There were so many unknowns, and I found myself feeling overwhelmed and uncertain about what I would have to face.

Throughout this journey, I have learned that I did not have to walk through it alone. I have been fortunate to have people by my side who supported me, encouraged me, and helped me through some of the most difficult moments.
Although my treatment may be completed, I am still working through this journey-physically, emotionally, and mentally. Breast cancer changes you in ways that are difficult to explain unless you have experienced it yourself.

When I think of breast cancer, one
organization that immediately comes to mind is Susan G. Komen. The work they do to support individuals throughout their breast cancer journey, while also investing in research to prevent and ultimately cure breast cancer, is incredibly meaningful.

What more could we ask for?
That is why I am asking you to join me on my Journey.

Let's come together, take a walk, and walk for a cause that means so much to me. Every step represents hope-for those who are currently fighting like my sister-in-law Connie, for those who have completed their treatment, for those we have lost, and for the future generations who may one day be spared this disease.
