This year, I joined the Komen community and registered for the Susan G. Komen MORE THAN PINK Walk, a cause that is very close to my heart.

As many of you know, in December 2022, I was diagnosed with Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma of the breast, a rare form of breast cancer. It was one of the most challenging experiences of my life. Thankfully, I was fortunate to have access to the medical care, surgery, and treatments I needed, and today I am grateful to be in remission.

Unfortunately, not everyone facing breast cancer is as fortunate. There is still so much we don't know about rare cancers like Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma, and more research is desperately needed to improve treatments and outcomes for those diagnosed in the future.    

That's why I'm walking and raising funds to support Susan G. Komen's mission to save lives and move us closer to a world without breast cancer. Every donation, no matter the amount, truly makes a difference and helps fund research, support services, and advocacy for those affected by this disease.
