My Cancer Journey
Cancer changed my life in ways I never imagined. Hearing the words "You have breast cancer" was one of the most frightening moments I've ever experienced. It brought uncertainty, fear, surgeries, treatments, and challenges that tested me physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
But it also showed me the incredible strength that comes from my faith, my family, my friends, and an amazing community that stood beside me every step of the way. Because of advances in research, better treatments, and the support available to patients, I am incredibly grateful to be celebrating another year of remission.
I walk because I know what this journey feels like. I walk for those who are newly diagnosed, those currently fighting, those living with metastatic breast cancer, the survivors, and the families who have lost someone they love. No one should have to face breast cancer alone.
I proudly support Susan G. Komen because they are committed to funding life-saving research, providing patient support, advocating for better care, and working toward a future where breast cancer no longer takes the lives of those we love.
This cause is deeply personal to me, and I would be honored to have you join me. If you're able, please consider registering to walk as part of my team. Whether you're walking in support of a loved one, celebrating a survivor, honoring someone you've lost, or simply standing with those affected by breast cancer, your presence would mean so much.
If you can't join us on walk day, a donation of any amount is greatly appreciated. Every step we take and every dollar we raise brings us closer to a world without breast cancer.
Thank you for your love, support, and generosity. Together, we can make a difference.
More Than Pink. More Than a Walk. More Than Ever.
