This year, I joined the Komen community and signed up for the Susan G. Komen MORE THAN PINK Walk.

The last eight months have been a journey I never expected to take. Going through breast cancer treatment has changed my life forever. When I was diagnosed with Triple Positive breast cancer, I learned that 25 years ago this diagnosis would have looked very different. Thanks to research and advancements supported by organizations like Susan G. Komen, I now have a 98% chance that my cancer won't come back.

Treatment was by far the hardest thing I've ever gone through. I was incredibly lucky to catch my cancer early and to have amazing family, friends, and medical teams supporting me every step of the way. Not everyone is that fortunate. That's one of the reasons Susan G. Komen's work is so important—they help fund research, provide support, and give hope to people who are facing breast cancer and need it most.

After everything I've been through, supporting this cause means a lot to me. I'm raising money to help Susan G. Komen continue their mission to end breast cancer and support those who are currently fighting this disease.
