In March 2024 I found out I had stage 1 breast cancer and my whole world turned upside down. In 8 months l've gone through a lumpectomy, countless doctor appts and blood draws, chemotherapy, and radiation and finally I'm on my way to recovery and getting my life back.

While this was the hardest thing l've ever had to do and l'm so grateful for my family and friends.

This is my second year forming a team to help raise money for breast cancer research and join Susan G. Komen® in their mission to end breast cancer forever.

As someone who had no family history and lived a healthy lifestyle, getting a cancer diagnosis was a huge surprise so that is why ending breast cancer is so important.
