The Susan G. Komen Tampa Bay More Than Pink Walk is proceeding as planned on October 10, 2026. We are aware of local reports of dengue fever, a mosquito-borne illness, in the Tampa Bay area. According to the Florida Department of Health, dengue fever is not contagious and is transmitted by the bite of an infected mosquito. For guidance on preventing mosquito bites, please visit the Florida Department of Health and the CDC. f you are undergoing treatment or have a weakened immune system, please check with your healthcare provider before attending.
