Children of Champions 🎀

We chose the name Children of Champions because behind both of us are two incredibly strong women whose journeys with breast cancer have impacted our lives in different ways.

Ran is walking in honor of his mother, a breast cancer survivor whose strength, courage, and resilience are a reminder of what it means to keep fighting.

Makira is walking in loving memory of her grandmother, who passed away from breast cancer. Although she is no longer here physically, her love, strength, and legacy continue to live on through her family.

For Ran, this walk celebrates the blessing of having his mom here today. For Makira, it honors the memory of a grandmother who will forever be loved and carried in her heart.

One of us walks in celebration. One of us walks in remembrance. Together, we walk in honor of two champions.

That is why we are Children of Champions. Ran will always be the son of a champion, and Makira will always be the granddaughter of a champion. 🎀💗

With every step, we carry their stories, their strength, and their legacy with us.

We walk for our champions. We walk for hope. And we walk toward a future without breast cancer.
