My Story
Many of you are touched by cancer, either yourself or through a loved one. My first personal encounter with cancer was as a caregiver 32 years ago when my husband Frank was diagnosed with his first cancer. Since then, he has had four additional cancer diagnoses, but thanks in much part to the advances in treatment options, he lives life to the fullest. Today he faces another battle and remains optimistic that the cure is around the corner.
I have dedicated the last 15 years of my career to the design of cancer treatment centers – my small contribution to the wellness of patients undergoing cancer treatment, while merging my professional and personal passions. I am in awe of the amazing medical community that I work with to bring these centers to reality and understand how much their research counts on donor support.
Now, as a five-year breast cancer survivor myself, I wish to honor all those who do their small part to help this cause. This year, I joined the Komen community and registered for the Susan G. Komen MORE THAN PINK Walk. I am dedicated to Komen's mission of ending breast cancer forever, and I need your help. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation today in support of my fundraising efforts.
