This year, the Komen MORE THAN PINK Walk feels a lot more personal. After my own breast cancer diagnosis, I’m walking with some of my favorite people — the Bunco Babes (a name that is slightly misleading, since we have never actually played Bunco ).

Our group has always been about showing up for each other, catching up, laughing, and usually sharing a glass of wine. Now we’re showing up in a different way: walking together to support breast cancer research, care, and the hope for better outcomes for everyone facing this disease.
