This year's Susan G. Komen Walk is especially meaningful to me because I'm walking not only as a team captain, but as a breast cancer survivor. After being diagnosed with breast cancer, I experienced firsthand the fear, uncertainty, and strength that come with this journey. Today, I'm grateful to be on the other side, and I'm walking to celebrate survivorship and support those still in treatment and help create a future with better treatments and a cure. Every donation and every step brings us closer.
