Why we walk...
The picture above says it all. Nancy wore the cape. She was the super hero. I was just Robin to her Batman. She was the one with the strength, the faith, the will. We all supported her in her time of need -- and we will never forget her. Never.
We walk to remember Nancy. And we now walk to make sure all the women in our lives never have to deal with the scourge that is breast cancer. For me personally, this is for Alyssa, this is for Sophie, this is for Olivia, this is for Charlotte, this is for Chris. We need a solution, so the meaning of these walks can change.
