My Story
First, thank you.
So many of you have supported my annual breast cancer fundraiser year after year—by donating, riding, sharing, and showing up—and I’m incredibly grateful.
I started doing this in honor of my mom. When she had cancer, she never stopped being Mom. She was loving, present, and involved. She showed up for our family, my school, our church, and our community. She kept doing the everyday things that made her who she was, while quietly carrying something incredibly hard.
Every year when I do this fundraiser, I think about how this is exactly the kind of thing she would be doing if she were here. I know she would be proud—and I love that, in a small way, I get to continue showing up for something that would have mattered to her.
Thank you for continuing to support me, this fundraiser, and a cause that will always be incredibly close to my heart.
