Hi,

On September 27th, I am joining the Susan G Komen walk.  I am dedicated to Komen's mission of ending breast cancer forever.

We are walking for my cousin who had a challenging battle with breast cancer this last year.  She shared her journey with everyone and is truly an inspiration to all cancer survivors.  We are all so happy that she is now cancer free. 

Your support helps us get one step closer to a world without breast cancer. Funds raised help support breakthrough research and provide assistance to those facing breast cancer today who need our support. Whether it’s emotional support via Komen’s helpline, financial support through Komen’s financial assistance program, or navigation services to break down barriers to care, Komen will be there for them.  They are constantly doing research looking at different genes that will help predict the likelihood of someone getting breast cancer and also the likelihood that it will come back. Many of the grants Susan G Komen provides work on ways to fight and cure breast cancer that has metastasized to another location.    

Thank you to everyone that has supported me in the past.  It means so much to me to have so many people be there for me and to support my fundraising.  I am cancer free for 14 years and always enjoy my todays because you never know what tomorrow brings.
