My story:
Early detection (Stage 0) is why I am here today Living and Breathing. Due to my diagnosis, I made sure my mom was tested too because she hadn’t been seen for a while . Her results came back positive (Stage 2). We both had different decisions and treatments to go through.
Keeping up with routine self checks and annual mammograms should be the norm and affordable for anyone. Having access to the most current treatment no matter the costs should become available.
Your support helps us get one step closer to a world without breast cancer. Funds raised help support breakthrough research and provide assistance to those facing breast cancer today who need our support. Whether it’s emotional support via Komen’s helpline, financial support through Komen’s financial assistance program, or navigation services to break down barriers to care, Komen will be there for them.
