I'm participating in the Susan G. Komen MORE THAN PINK Walk in remembrance of my mom, who lost her battle with breast cancer when I was young. Walking in her memory is a way for me to honor her life, her strength, and the impact she continues to have on me every day.

Breast cancer has affected my life in a way that will always be deeply personal. I'm walking not only for my mom, but also in support of every person and family who has been impacted by this disease. My hope is that the funds and awareness raised through this walk can help bring us closer to a future where fewer families have to experience this kind of loss.

Every step I take will be for her.
