My Story
Most people think my story began after a routine mammogram. In reality, I had a clear mammogram scan July 28th and by Nov 8th I felt a difference in my right breast. It grew that fast!
On January 6, 2025 I received the unthinkable news and was diagnosed officially with triple negative breast cancer (TNBC). After 16 rounds of chemotherapy with immunotherapy and surgery there was no evidence of disease on my pathology. Then 16 sessions of radiation with more immunotherapy. During this, learned that I had a BRCA 2 gene mutation, which lead to more choices and decisions, but I was "young & healthy."
As of now I'm in the survivorship phase and looking for ways to support others who share similar, or not so similar, stories.
efforts. Funds raised help support breakthrough research and provide assistance to those facing breast cancer today who need our support.
