Our Story

If you know me, you probably know that my mom is the reason I do what I do.

She has been a permanent makeup artist since 1999, and she's the one who taught me permanent makeup and helped me turn it into a career that I absolutely love.

A few years ago, our lives changed when my mom was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer.

Watching her go through everything that came with cancer was terrifying. And somewhere along the way, it also made me start thinking about my own career differently.

I had spent years tattooing brows, eyeliner and lips, but I realized that the same skills my mom taught me could be used to help people after breast cancer too. That's what pushed me to learn 3D areola restoration.

For people who have had mastectomies and breast reconstruction, I can use tattooing to create the illusion of a realistic areola and nipple. And honestly, it feels pretty full circle that the career my mom gave me ended up becoming a way for me to help other people who have gone through something similar to what she did.

And I am VERY happy to say that today, my mom is cancer-free. ð’—

But breast cancer is always going to be something that is close to my heart now. Going through it with someone you love changes you. And once I started doing 3D areola restoration, I knew I wanted this part of my work to be about more than just tattooing.

That's why I decided to start giving back to Susan G. Komen.

Throughout the year, I donate 10% of the proceeds from every 3D areola restoration procedure, and for Breast Cancer Awareness Month this October, I'm donating 100% of the proceeds from every 3D areola restoration procedure. ð€

I'll also be walking in the Susan G. Komen MORE THAN PINK Walk here in Las Vegas and raising money directly for Komen.

Obviously, I would love to raise a TON of money ð‚, but more than anything, I just want to take something that was really scary and difficult for my family and turn it into something good.

My mom taught me how to do permanent makeup.

Breast cancer is what led me to 3D areola restoration.

And now I get to use something I love doing to help other people AND help fund the fight against the disease that affected my family.

That means a lot to me. ð’—

If you'd like to donate, walk with me, share my fundraising page, or just cheer us on, I would be incredibly grateful.

Thank you for being part of it. ð€
