My Story
Doing the Susan G. Komen More Than Pink Walk again this year, and it feels a little heavier than usual.
I’ve been a breast cancer survivor since January 2014, so this has always mattered to me.
This year hits different though. We lost one of my good friends from high school in February after a little over a year of fighting. And last year, my mom was diagnosed with triple-negative breast cancer. She’s been through chemo, surgery, and radiation-and thankfully is done with treatment now and moving forward.
So this one’s for a lot of reasons.
If you want to support, donate, walk, or just share, I’d appreciate it.
