Many of you know me as a retired Breast Surgeon here in Peoria.  During my career, I worked with numerous colleagues to improve breast cancer care in Central Illinois.  Unfortunately, our fight to make Breast Cancer a non-lethal illness is not over.  The Susan G. Komen Foundation uses money raised from these fundraising events in multiple ways to help Breast Cancer patients.  IMO, the most important is the money that goes to research.  Keep in mind that our current administration has cut funding for all cancer research, slowing down our changes to find better treatments, and even cures.  I plan to keep fighting for this, will you help me???
