It takes a Village. I'm beyond blessed to have the support that I do. Just because treatment & surgeries are completed doesn't mean cancer is wrapped up in a little bow & tucked away. Every day I am faced with the The fatigue that I have., the aches in my bones, and the constant reminder that I still have many surgeries ahead. The emotional damage breast cancer has caused me has dimmed my sparkle as I'm fighting to get that back. This years walk I won't be a keynote speaker. I will be there to support my sisters and brothers (yes, men can get breast cancer too). So please join me in the fight against breast cancer!
