My mum, Kelly, was diagnosed with breast cancer on January 30, 2024, and in that moment our world shifted. What followed was a journey filled with fear, strength, and an unshakable will to keep going. Through surgery and radiation, she showed a courage that inspired everyone around her, even on the days she was exhausted or afraid. On May 17, 2024, she finished treatment—not just as a survivor, but as a woman who proved what resilience truly looks like. We are walking in the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Walk for my mum, for every tear shed, for every moment of hope, and for every woman still fighting.
