Hello everyone! On May 17, I’ll be walking in the Susan G. Komen More Than Pink Walk in Pittsburgh.

This year's walk feels especially personal. My colleague Grace is about to begin five months of intensive chemotherapy, and this walk is a way to stand beside her as she faces that journey.

The walk means so much to me and my Thermo Fisher Scientific colleagues for a couple of reasons. First, we want to show up for Grace and honor her strength. And second, in our work, we support the scientists and healthcare professionals who are giving people like Grace a fighting chance—our Mission is personal.
