My Story
At 39 years old, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Once the shock wore off, I underwent 16 rounds of chemotherapy, a double mastectomy with reconstruction, and 20 rounds of radiation. I've since also been on oral chemo & other meds to give me the best shot at staving off a reoccurrence. This is why I've organized a team to participate in More Than Pink- breast cancer is becoming so prevalent where 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed in their lifetime. And it's occurring more frequently in young women. Raising money for research is our best bet to end breast cancer once and for all. Hope you can support Amy's Army!
