My Story
Almost seven years ago I heard the words every woman fears - "I'm sorry, but you have breast cancer." I made up my mind that I would win the battle, no question about it. And I did, in large part due to comprehensive advances made in detection, treatment options and genomic testing. Advances made possible through research grants and donations.
I joined the Komen community and last year registered for the Susan G. Komen MORE THAN PINK Walk for the first time. My family and I have promised to walk and fundraise every year.
