We are always ready to welcome new BC ladies (and men) to paddle with us. We have the opportunity to race regionally, nationally and internationally. We are a sisterhood of women of all ages who have taken on Breast Cancer. We support each other on and off the river. Dragon Boat Paddling has many benefits for BC patients. Dr. Don McKenzie from Vancouver, CA did a study of this over 30 years ago now, which was the catalyst for the BC Paddlers Division in the sport of Dragon Boating.
We are participating as a team to the Komen walk this year to support fellow survivors and introduce them to this amazing sport and an amazing opportunity to take you to new heights physically, mentally and emotionally.
We also have other women's crews that are looking for new teammates under our parent club, Philadelphia Flying Phoenix Women's Dragon Boat Team--one of the largest clubs on the Schuylkill River!
