My Story
January changed everything.
At 39, I heard the words no one ever expects to hear… you have breast cancer. One moment, life was moving forward like normal… the next, it felt like everything stood still. I had so many questions. How would I tell my kids? What do I do next? How serious is it? I felt so scared. It took time, but eventually, I began to grow strength and share my journey.
This journey hasn’t been easy. There have been moments of uncertainty, tears, and exhaustion. But there have also been moments of courage, love, and a strength I didn’t know I had. I’ve learned what it means to keep going even when you’re scared. I’ve learned how powerful family, support, and God can be. And finally, I learned that strength doesn’t mean not being afraid—it means moving forward anyway.
Now, I walk.
I walk for the woman who just got diagnosed and feels like her world is falling apart, and I walk for the women who found out too late. I walk for my kids, I walk for my family, and I walk for me.
But this walk is bigger than me. It’s for every life and every family touched by breast cancer.
If you can, join me. Stand with me, and walk beside me. Support the fight in whatever way you can. Because no one should have to go through this alone.
We are stronger together, and together we keep moving forward.
