On May 14, 2025, I went for a routine mammogram. Six days later—on my son Beckett’s birthday—I learned that I was joining the 1 in 8 women diagnosed with breast cancer. My diagnosis was HER2-positive.

I was incredibly fortunate to be surrounded by an exceptional medical team at Penn, along with loving friends and family. Along the way, I also met an amazing community of strong women who had gone through this journey before me or alongside me.

As I approach the completion of my treatment on June 18, 2026—cancer-free—I’ve made a commitment to give back to the community that helped save my life. I know how different things could have been if I had waited longer or not received the care I did.

This year, I joined the Komen community and registered for the Susan G. Komen MORE THAN PINK Walk. I’m dedicated to Komen’s mission of ending breast cancer forever, and I would be grateful for your support. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation in support of my fundraising efforts.
