My Story
Greetings Family and Friends,
In February of this year, just one month after retirement and much to my surprise, I was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer. After experiencing a rollercoaster of emotions: shock, anxiety, sadness, disbelief and numbness, I came to realize that I am in a fight for my life, alongside so many others affected by this devasting disease.
All who know me, know I am a woman of faith and believe in the healing power of Jesus and trust that HE has a plan for my life, even through trials and tribulations. While I am trusting Him completely for my healing, I also recognize the importance of being an active participant and advocate for myself and others in this journey to restorative health.
As part of that commitment, I am raising funds and awareness through The Susan G. Komen’s vision of a world without breast cancer, and I’m asking for your help.
