My Story
I am a dedicated breast cancer survivor excited to share my journey as I participate in the Susan G. Komen MORE THAN PINK Walk this year. My battle began in 2024 when I was diagnosed with Stage 3C triple-negative breast cancer. In December 2024, I started an intense chemotherapy journey, completing my 16th treatment by May 2025. Over these eight months, I faced numerous imaging appointments, three biopsies, two bone marrows, and many other appointments and some emotional weight.
A pivotal moment came when I rang the bell, signaling the end of my chemotherapy. Following this, I underwent a double mastectomy having a great outcome receiving a pathologic complete response (PCR) and wrapped up my radiation treatments in October 2025. I also received immunotherapy as part of my comprehensive care plan.
Now, as a proud member of the Komen community, I am raising funds to support Komen's mission to end breast cancer forever. Your tax-deductible donations will help advance research and provide crucial assistance to those currently facing this disease. Komen offers emotional support through their helpline, financial aid programs for those in need, and navigation services to help overcome barriers to care.
Ending breast cancer requires all of us. Your generosity will make a meaningful impact in the lives of many. Please consider joining me in this fight by making a donation today. Together, we can support breast cancer patients and show them that they are not alone in their journey.
