My Story
This year, I joined the Komen community and registered for the Susan G. Komen MORE THAN PINK Walk with my childhood friends. We are walking in the St. Louis event in memory of our friend Kate Humphrey, who passed away due to breast cancer. I met Kate in 5th grade and was lucky to have such a vibrant, fun, creative, amazing friend for more than 40 years.
I am also walking in the memory of my friend Karen Bernoteit, who died from breast cancer in 2006.
