My Story
Hello and welcome to my page! If you don’t know my name is Barb and I retired in 2023 from the Army after 23 years! That was supposed to be a time for celebration and growth and finding myself, however within weeks I was diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer. Within one year of retirement I had gone from a Soldier to gaining 50lbs, losing all my hair and my breasts! What a journey this has been! It’s been over two years in this fight and finally as of Jan 2026 I’m finally out of active treatment and on the road to recovery!
