My Story
In 2002, I did the Komen Race for the Cure for the first time. I had just lost a dear friend to breast cancer and doing the walk was my way of not only honoring her memory, but also raising money to fight this disease.
Over the years, I have known many more people who have been diagnosed with breast cancer; some have beaten it, others haven't. I continue to walk for my friend, as well as all of the others who are fighting, who have beaten this disease and those who haven't.
This year, I will be walking in Orlando on May 9. Will you consider donating to this cause? If you are unable to donate, please pray for everyone walking and for those who have been affected by this disease.
