I’m joining this year’s Susan G. Komen MORE THAN PINK Walk in support of Komen’s vision of a world without breast cancer. My goal is to raise $250, for this mission that is very personal to me.

In 2025 my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer and we are convinced that she benefited from the scientific advances that came through the support of Susan G. Komen. Today she is feeling great and moving through recovery, but it’s important to our family to support the same organization that helped her and many other women. 

This year alone, more than 300,000 people living in the U.S. are expected to be diagnosed with breast cancer. And while great strides have been made in prevention and treatment, there is still so much work to be done to find the cures to end this terrible disease.
