My Story
I am dedicated to Komen's mission of ending breast cancer forever!
Sadly, I’m sure we all know someone who has had breast cancer. With research the survival rate has increased dramatically. Even with these advances next year an estimated 40,000+ women in the United States and over 650,000 worldwide will succumb to this dreadful disease. I am walking to raise funds so research will continue and people diagnosed with breast cancer will have the support they need. Cancer affects the whole family. I’m walking for the people I love in my life; my friends and relatives who thankfully have survived cancer. I am walking for those who will be diagnosed in the future. I am walking to honor those who have not survived. I am walking to help support all who are working to find a cure. I appreciate any donation you would like to make.
