As you all know I had breast cancer in 2019. Thankfully with the support of family, friends,doctors and faith. I made it through treatment triumphant. By the grace of God I continue to be cancer free.
I am so happy to be walking with my good friend & survivor sister, Lynn. Who has also beat this menace of a disease. We both joyfully walk this fund raiser, with family and friends. We love the energy, the community, the support and the way it just raises you up. If you have been to the Komen walks, you know the feeling.
It would mean so much if you came along with us to show and share support for someone you know and love who is battling, beat or lost their fight to breast cancer. You will be happy you did.
This year alone, more than 300,000 people living in the U.S. are expected to be diagnosed with breast cancer. And while great strides have been made in prevention and treatment, there is still so much work to be done to find the cures to end this terrible disease.
