My Story
Last November, my baby sister was diagnosed with breast cancer at 34 - an age when routine mammograms aren’t yet recommended. She noticed changes in her body, trusted her instincts, and got checked. That decision changed everything.
After months of treatment and so much strength, she’s now considered no disease detected. We’re endlessly grateful — for her care team, for early detection, and for the research that made this outcome possible.
This experience reminded us how quickly life can shift, and how much we rely on each other to get through it. Whatever happens, when we show up and actively support each other, things can turn out okay — sometimes even better than okay.
I’m walking in the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Awareness Walk this month alongside my sister and our loved ones. We’re raising funds to continue the research, treatments, and community programs that save lives every day.
If you’re able to contribute, thank you. Every dollar helps fund the scientists, doctors, and organizations working toward a future without breast cancer
And if you can’t donate right now, that’s okay too — the most powerful thing you can do is listen to your body, schedule that checkup, and remind someone else to do the same.
Thank you for being part of this story — in whatever way you can.
