I have participated in previous Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Walks to help bring awareness and financial assistance for those in need. This year I walk for me with a heart overflowing with gratitude. My breast cancer journey is one of the hardest chapters of my life filled with moments of fear, uncertainty, and surrender but also moments where I have felt the presence of God more deeply than ever before.

Through every test, treatment, and tear, I saw over and over God carry me when I had no strength left of my own. I saw love show up in countless ways through family, friends, prayers, and even kind strangers. 

I walk for those of us who are still fighting and surviving and for the angels we hold forever in our hearts. I never would have imagined how expensive it is to fight cancer; but I found support and financial resources through the Susan G. Komen foundation.  I know things are hard everywhere; but will you please consider making a tax- deductible donation to help others who are facing breast cancer? Nothing is too small.
