My Story
In March 2022, my older sister, Bianca, felt a lump on her breast and her doctor ordered her to get a biopsy immediately. I accompanied her at her biopsy and from that day forward, our lives were forever changed. Bianca was diagnosed with breast cancer and in the beginning we thought it was Stage 1 but when she completed her chest MRI in preparation for her planned mastectomy, we learned that it had spread to her bones and she was Stage 4. Another moment that changed our lives forever.
Like so many other cancer survivors, Bianca is a fighter! She is doing well and continues to live a normal life as a mother, wife, sister and friend to many people (despite having to get chemo once every three weeks and scans regularly).
Please assist us in supporting the Susan G Komen foundation to ensure we continue to develop effective treatments for breast cancer and provide care to those in need.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for supporting us and this cause!
