On October 26, I will join my friend Bianca and our fellow team members at the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation?s signature fundraising event, the MORE THAN PINK Walk.

I am walking and raising money to show my support for the millions of women who have been impacted by breast cancer, including Bianca ? my dear friend who was diagnosed with Stage IV metastatic breast cancer in 2021 ? and some close family members who have been affected by this disease.

You probably know and love someone who has been impacted by breast cancer, as well. The sad reality is that 1 in 8 American women (about 13%) will develop invasive breast cancer over the course of her lifetime.
