My Story
Twenty years ago, I was diagnosed with breast cancer for the first time, and Komen was there with support, knowledge, and other resources. Through their online support community, I gained friends from around the world, and I was so thankful to have found that very special safe place that we fondly called Komenville.
Ten years later, I was diagnosed with a new primary very aggressive breast cancer, and Komen was there for me again, this time with a grant, and gas cards to get to treatment at Vanderbilt.
This year, in celebration of my 20 and 10 year cancerversary, I joined the Komen community and registered for the Susan G. Komen MORE THAN PINK Walk. I am dedicated to Komen's mission of ending breast cancer forever, and I need your help. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation today in support of my fundraising efforts.
