My Story
Our Walk, Our Fight, Our Love
Three years ago, my world changed forever when my mom was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer. My mom is the strongest person I know — the one who’s always been my rock — and I’ve had to watch the strongest person I know fight for her life. It’s a fight filled with endless doctor visits, sleepless nights, and moments where hope feels heavy… but she never lets go of it.
Last year, we faced one of our hardest setbacks yet. It was a moment that could have broken us — but it didn’t. My mom, in true warrior fashion, fought her way back, and today her spirit shines brighter than ever. She’s smiling again. She’s laughing again. And now… she’s walking again.
But our story doesn’t stop there. We walk this year with another name stitched into our hearts — my Auntie Bre. We lost her to breast cancer, and there isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t miss her. She was full of love, light, and laughter, and I wish more than anything she could be walking beside us.
This year, stepping into the Susan G. Komen walk means more to us than words can explain. It’s not just about raising money — it’s about honoring my mom’s fight, remembering my auntie’s legacy, and fighting for the day when no one else has to say goodbye too soon.
Every single donation is a step closer to that day.
Every dollar is a lifeline for someone’s mother, sister, aunt, or friend.
If you can, please help us reach our goal. Walk with us in spirit, give what you can, and know that your kindness is helping keep hope alive.
For my mom. For Auntie Bre. For every warrior. For every angel.
