My Story
In June 2024, my world changed when I was diagnosed with Stage 3 hormone-positive, HER2-negative breast cancer. With no family history of cancer, I was completely unprepared and knew nothing about what lay ahead. From that moment, my life became a whirlwind of treatments — I started chemotherapy immediately and haven’t stopped fighting since.
So far, I’ve undergone four surgeries, with three more still to go, but through it all, I’ve learned what true strength and resilience look like. My biggest motivation comes from my two little girls, Maddie and Penny, who keep my spirits high and remind me every day why I fight. My mother, Gloria, has been by my side every step of the way, and the unwavering love and support from my family have carried me through the toughest moments of this journey.
This October, participating in my first Susan G. Komen More Than Pink Walk is more than just an event — it’s a celebration of hope, strength, and the incredible community that surrounds those of us battling breast cancer.
