This year, I joined the Susan G. Komen community and registered for the MORE THAN PINK Walk—and I’m walking for Mari Guerrero.

Mari was a woman full of life, joy, and grit. And she was also a fighter - one who faced breast cancer with unimaginable courage and never stopped fighting until her very last breath.

I walk to honor her strength.

I walk to carry her spirit forward.

I walk because she deserved more time.
