Michele East and Carla Ryder met in July of 2024, as Carla was wrapping her fight up but Michele was just beginning hers.  Their friendship, rooted in shared experiences, quickly grew as Carla was able to provide invaluable advice and support.  Together, they celebrate milestones, proving the power of friendship and support in overcoming adversity.

Last year, they captained two separate teams but they are combining this year to make an even bigger impact as they continue to celebrate life, one moment at a time.   

As a member of this team, we are each playing a part in helping Susan G. Komen® in their  mission to end breast cancer forever.

The money our team raises will fund research to discover more effective treatments, as well as vital patient support to help connect people with things like breast cancer education & information, emotional support, patient navigation, financial assistance and so much more.
