For the past few years I have joined forces with other women and men to walk in the Susan G. Komen walk. It has always been a rewarding experience, not only because of the fellowship of the walk, but because it is my way of recognizing how lucky I was to survive breast cancer in 2016. I know that my efforts to raise money so that other people can receive the great medical attention that I received is worth it!
Your support helps us get one step closer to a world without breast cancer. Funds raised help support breakthrough research and provide assistance to those facing breast cancer today who need our support. Whether it’s emotional support via Komen’s helpline, financial support through Komen’s financial assistance program, or navigation services to break down barriers to care, Komen will be there for them.
