Why I'm walking
This year, I joined the Komen community and registered for the Susan G. Komen MORE THAN PINK Walk. I am dedicated to Komen's mission of ending breast cancer forever, and I need your help. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation today in support of my fundraising efforts.
Why am I walking? I teach community health, I believe in supporting communities, and I want to walk the talk (get it!) This is one way I can support a community of researchers, survivors, and their loved ones in raising funds and awareness.
Oh, and I'm a survivor. I don't talk about it much because my cancer was caught very early and I was spared going through chemo (only did radiation). So I don't really consider myself a survivor. Instead, I consider myself a very thankful wahine whose mammogram saved her life.
Will you please join me in this fight by making your donation today?
