My Story
Why I Walk
I walk for the fighters, the survivors, and the ones we hold in our hearts. I walk because breast cancer has touched the lives of my friends, my community - and most deeply, my family.
My mom faced breast cancer not once, but twice. She also battled cervical cancer. Through it all, she showed me what true strength looks like. "Survivor" is one word to describe her, but I also think of resiliency, hope, and grace. These were the qualities she carried with her, even during the hardest moments. And somehow, she fought with humor. That?s what I remember most. Her laughter, even in the face of pain, reminded me that joy can coexist with struggle. Her courage continues to inspire me every day.
I walk to honor her story and the stories of so many others. I walk to help fund research and treatment, patient support, public education, and more. Every donation helps make a difference in someone?s life.
Please consider supporting my cause. Together, we can bring hope, healing, and progress to those who need it most.
With gratitude,
