Why I'm Walking
Cancer has touched my life in more ways than I ever imagined.
I’m walking in the 2025 Komen Bay Area More Than Pink Walk for my mom — a true fighter who has faced breast cancer twice, with two different types, and survived both times. She’s a baddie in every sense of the word, and her strength inspires me every day.
I’m also walking for my dear friend Alex, who is under 30 and facing this disease head-on with incredible courage. And I’m walking for myself — because my own health scores show that my lifetime risk is higher than average, and early detection and research matter to me personally.
Breast cancer is one of the most expensive cancer to treat in the U.S., and the need for support is enormous. Your donation, no matter the size, has a real and immediate impact:
