My Story
I was diagnosed in February 2020 with Stage 2B breast cancer and went through a lot of surgeries and treatments that year while California was shut down due to covid. It was a harrowing experience but thanks to extensive research and a caring medical team, my status is now NED (no evidence of disease).
The Susan G. Komen Foundation reports that about every 2 minutes, someone in the U.S. is diagnosed with breast cancer. This year, I'm joining the Women of CoreNet Pink Warriors team to support the Susan G. Komen MORE THAN PINK Walk. I am dedicated to Komen's mission of ending breast cancer forever, and need our help to raise funds for research and to assist those facing breast cancer today.
