My Story
There are truly only a few things in life that we all fear. One is being told you have cancer. Unfortunately for my family, myself, my mom and four of my eight sisters, as well as my daughter in law, we’ve all have been diagnosed with breast cancer. My mom later died of ovarian cancer after her battle with breast cancer. Watching a loved one die from cancer is something no one should ever have to experience. Fortunately for myself and my sisters we are all survivors and cancer free. I am on my 6th year of being cancer free. Because of the amount of breast cancer in our family, We all have had genetic testing. We all found out we don’t carry the gene. Just the luck of the Irish draw. We pray everyday there is a cure for our daughters, our nieces, granddaughters and our loved ones. This is our opportunity to help in the fight to kick cancer’s a$$. If you would like to donate or join our team as we walk to find a cure, we would love to have you.
